It’s probably telling about my taste that I enjoyed the Game Boy Color version so much more than its big brother for the PC. Essentially the core plot is the same, a magical sword, the Daikatana, has allowed a guy named Kage Mishima to change history. Your mission is to stop him. The story is slightly convoluted, but still fun. The game plays a bit like Zelda-lite, the few puzzles are simpler and the gameplay is more linear. And yet, it’s a fun and enjoyable game, much more so than the original Daikatana.
