Kafka Americana (2001)

A collection of stories that have Kafka as a theme, but only roughly. The only story worth reading is the alternative fiction piece that both have written in collaboration, a story that shows Kafka going to the USA and working in Hollywood. The rest were experiments that sadly failed to work as anything coming close to telling a story. Pieces without clear beginnings or ends, or any point at all, metafictional experiments that look inane, not smart. I can’t say that anything apart from “Receding Horizon” was worth the time.
