Salt (2010)

Slick, well-done action movie (or thriller, I’m not exactly sure which category fits best) written by the guy who wrote & directed Ultraviolet (one of my guilty pleasures) and Equilibrium (interesting if not entirely successful fusion of 1984 and action movies). When I started watching I was surprised to see Angelina Jolie playing a more realistic take on an action hero (you know, where the hero actually can hurt himself doing stupid stuff), but that soon went out of the window and the movie was back in unrealistic stunt land. Not that I want to complain, the action is fast and cool, Jolie’s take on the main character gave the impression that she was actually acting, you know, playing a role instead of herself (as fun as that is in most movies). All in all, not original, but fun.
